051009: The happiest baby on the block has just turned 8 months old! Our little guy is growing up! Please check out the pictures we just had taken of Lincoln...he is such a good sport. He is so happy to smile for pictures and is such a little doll! I am so grateful for such a happy baby!
We have been on an amazing journey over the last couple of months watching Lincoln develop. He continues to grow so much...it is crazy how fast it happens and much changes from day to day. He sits up all of the time and loves to play with his toys! He is now saying "Dadda" and "Momma" all of the time! It is so dang cute to listen to him jabber! Just this week he actually learned how to growl. I love to hear him growl! It is so deep...such a little boy! He is so funny when he experiments with his own voice! He understands a lot of what we say too...when we ask him where Roxy is, he looks around for her, and when asked about Daddy, he looks for Anthony too! Lincoln also loves to stick his tongue out, and still has the most contagious laugh and smile!
I am humbled at how much Lincoln learns each day. We are teaching him sign language and he is now starting to try and say "more" and loves to clap when he is done eating a bite! His favorite new food is the little puffed grain treats that he can actually put in his mouth by himself! He gets kind of frustrated when his hands don't always do what he wants them to do! With his mouth wide open, he sometimes folds himself in half to reach his snack! It is the cutest thing. Lincoln also loves to give high fives and even type on the computer! :)
Lincoln has a couple of new friends! He has a little puppy stuffed-animal named "patches" and a little orange sock monkey named "Rusty". They are his little buddies and he loves to take them with him wherever he goes! The other morning before he woke up Lincoln was sleeping with patches cuddled tightly in his arms. Roxy likes Lincoln's new friends too, and tries to cuddle with them when Lincoln is not looking! :)
